Scottish picks: Mark Walker's best bets for Saturday's football in Scotland
Airdrie can beat an injury-hit Stranraer
3pm Saturday
Stirling have little to play for on paper, but they look good value to beat an Edinburgh City side whose form has fallen off a cliff.
On the final day of the regular season, the coupon is a minefield for spotting which teams are already on holiday, which sides are resting players for the playoffs and which still have something to aim for.
Last week, the Binos grabbed a last-minute equaliser at Peterhead which prevented the home side from clinching Ladbrokes League Two.
A defeat at Forthbank and a win for Annan at already-safe Albion would see the capital side slip to fourth place.
But by doing that they would almost certainly avoid Clyde, the in-form team in the league, and instead face the ninth-place side in Ladbrokes League One - either Stenhousemuir or Brechin City - provided Peterhead don't slip up against Queen's Park at Hampden.
City have been struggling recently with three defeats and a draw at home against hopeless Elgin, and they may also rest players for the midweek playoffs, so a relaxed Stirling could take advantage.
Airdrie can beat an injury-hit Stranraer to end their season on a high in Ladbrokes League One.
The Stair Park side are missing a host of players including Ian Smith, Christopher McGowan, Adam Cummins and David Brownlie. Kyle Turner is suspended and loan star Joao Vitoria can't play against his parent club.
Airdrie defeated champions Arbroath last week and the campaign is probably coming to an end at the wrong time for Ian Murray, who has got several players back from injuries.
The Diamonds have also won three out of three games against Stranraer this season and they look set to complete the clean sweep.
Dumbarton are another side whose season is ending too soon and they look overpriced to get a win at partying champions Arbroath.
The Red Lichties will enjoy being presented with the Ladbrokes League One trophy and they have realistically had the title wrapped up since the turn of the year.
But they have barely kicked a ball for weeks and have won just two of their last ten games.
Dumbarton are flying, with in-form Dom Thomas pulling their strings and they can spoil the Gayfield party.
