Listed winner over this trip at Ayr (good) last autumn; respectable reappearance fifth in Group 2 Huxley at Chester (extended 1m2f, soft) 39 days ago; has raced only on good or softer; stable tasted success in this race in 2020 but this 5yo will need a career best to overcome his penalty.

1m2f Grade 1 winner in the US in 2021; lightly raced in the last 18 months but showed he retains his ability when close third in 1m4f Newbury Group 3 (good) one month ago and it's possible he could take another step forward now; in the mix.

Solid start for new stable when third in Group 3 at Newmarket (1m1f, good to soft) and Listed race at this course (1m, good) this spring; first-time cheekpieces worn here last time are now replaced by first-time blinkers; did win on good to firm at the start of his career but his peak RPRs have been achieved under slower conditions.

Resurgent in cheekpieces on the AW, including a win in the valuable Easter Classic at Newcastle (1m2f) in April; continued the good work back on turf when third to King Of Conquest and Saga in 1m1f Newmarket handicap (good to soft) last month but that took his overall record on the grass to 0-14.

Second in this last year; back to best when producing a really smart handicap performance to defy a big weight at the recent Epsom Derby meeting (1m2f, good to firm); cheekpieces worn on that occasion are retained; not long in the excellent George Boughey yard and should make a bold bid to go one place better than 12 months ago.

Has shown he retains his ability since returning from a 14-month absence, finishing third to stablemate Adayar in the rescheduled Gordon Richards at Newmarket (1m2f, soft) then second in the Diomed at Epsom (extended 1m, good to firm) 17 days ago; not dismissed from a handy draw.

Won the Golden Gates at this meeting in 2021 (1m2f, soft) and sixth in this last year; back to near his best with a clearcut Listed AW success at Kempton (1m2f) in April and reported to have been unsuited by the tight turns of Chester when running poorly last time; 3lb penalty.

Back from 11 months off with a narrow Listed win at Leopardstown (1m, heavy); creditable close fourth in Group 1 Prix d'Ispahan at Longchamp (1m1f, good to soft) 22 days ago; 3lb penalty unlikely to prevent a bold bid.

Course winner as 2yo; went very close from off the pace in the Britannia at last year's Royal meeting (1m, good to firm) and underlined what a talented performer he is on his day when narrowly denied by King Of Conquest in 1m1f Newmarket handicap (good to soft; first-time cheekpieces, retained) on reappearance; arguably a little unfortunate having had to wait for a run and that reopposing rival (who meets him on 3lb worse terms now) has boosted the form since; slightly mixed overall record but he hasn't finished out of the first two when partnered by Dettori and is capable of a big run.

Form has taken off since the end of 2022, including beating Saga and Notre Belle Bete in a 1m1f Newmarket handicap (good to soft) before completing a four-timer when edging out Francesco Clemente in 1m2f Goodwood Listed event (good to firm) later in May; respected under 3lb penalty but his draw could make life awkward.

Smart handicap performance when second over an extended 1m2f at Chester (soft) in May; reported to have been unsuited by quick ground and the undulations of Epsom when running poorly behind Cadillac since; something to find and drawn widest.

Won a 1m Group 3 in France last summer and finished a good fourth in the Queen Elizabeth II here (good to soft) on final start; no more than respectable efforts in Newmarket Group 2 and Newbury Group 1 this spring but this is a slight drop in grade; first attempt beyond 1m; tricky draw.

Three from three in his first season last year (1m/1m2f); lost his unbeaten record but advanced his RPR again when second in the Group 3 Earl Of Sefton at Newmarket (1m1f, good to soft) on reappearance; ridden from the front and faded in the closing stages in the Group 2 Huxley at Chester since (extended 1m2f, soft) but it was another solid effort; may not have reached his limit after only five starts.

Unbeaten in three starts as 3yo, producing a smart performance when 9l winner on 1m2f Newmarket handicap debut last July; not seen again until finishing a very promising neck second to King Of Conquest in a Goodwood Listed race (1m2f, good to firm) 24 days ago, not helping his cause by hanging left on the bend; lacks experience but surely has a bigger performance in him and he's weighted to turn the tables on King Of Conquest; has raced only on good/good to firm; cheekpieces are reached for.
