She added that she felt the gelding travelled well throughout the race and obtained a good position turning into the straight where she asked for its effort. She further stated that after pecking on landing after jumping the second last, she felt the gelding began to tire very quickly and given that the horse doesn't appreciate being crowded she was content to hold the gelding together to give it the best chance of jumping the last flight of hurdles and was therefore satisfied that she had achieved the best possible placing) (op 13/2)
