He further added that upon entering the home straight he had placed MAXIE T, under pressure as it was at this point of the race he became concerned that Three Of A Kind still had a sizeable lead. trainers representative confirmed the instructions, but stated that having spoken to the trainer on the phone post-race he was dissatisfied with the manner in which the gelding had been ridden, as in his opinion the gelding had been allowed to get too far out of his ground, which left him with far too much to do.)
