br g Oscar (IRE) right - Presenting Proform (IRE) right (Presenting) right
Held up in last place, steady headway to chase clear leading pair 12th, not fluent 14th, went second going well 2 out, closed and just over 2 lengths down last, soon ridden and no extra (an inquiry was held into the running and riding of the gelding, the rider stated his instructions were to drop in behind the leaders and get the gelding jumping. He explained that the gelding made a bad mistake at the first fence and jumped deliberately thereafter. He added that when he made an attempt to make ground in the back straight, the gelding made further mistakes and he felt his best chance of winning the race after that was to keep the gelding balanced and make his challenge after the final fence. However, the gelding found very little when asked for an effort after the final fence. His explanation was noted) (op 7/2)
