Tom Segal's play of the day at the Curragh
Empirestateofmind
It might be a good day for the British runners because Empirestateofmind returned to form at York for the Quinns last time and the runner-up, Thunder Roar, has won since.
He goes in the Curragh On Course Bookmakers Premier Handicap. He's got form in better races than this off higher marks, a good draw and the soft ground is perfect too.
His stable have an excellent record with their forays in Ireland and Empirestateofmind could be on the up currently, while plenty of his rivals will have had enough for the season.
