It's another Sunday Series day at Pontefract and while he's not going to be much of a price, Vantheman has looked a sprinter going places twice this season and there aren't many trainers with a better record with this type of horse than Kevin Ryan.

Vantheman ran an amazing race from a bad draw at York three runs ago and last time he was extremely strong at the finish when winning over course and distance in a good time.

He did enjoy the run of the race that day but there isn't too much pace here, so it wouldn't be any surprise if Tom Eaves was to take the bull by the horns and go forward.

If that's the case, it will take a really good horse to get past him in the 5f handicap (6.15) and his main danger American Affair has a tricky draw to contend with on the outside of the field.
