Louis Treize ran up more blind alleys than away supporters once discovered to their cost at Millwall’s old Den when sixth of 14 at Chepstow last Monday.

With a clear run there is little doubt the dual course winner would have gone very close, and he can gain compensation on his return to the South Wales track in the 5f handicap (4.15).

Louis Treize has more than his share of quirks, but on a going day, and with a relatively trouble-free passage this time, he is more than capable of beating the likely hot favourite Protest Rally.
