Paul Kealy's play of the day at Ascot
Attila The Honey
Attila The Honey was progressive at a low level over 1m4f on the all-weather in the spring, winning twice, although that progress seemed to come to a halt when she hit turf for the first time afterwards.
However, it was soft that day, and it was much quicker when she returned to form with a huge career-best upped to 1m5½f at Newbury last Friday.
Backed into 16-1 (from 25), she may well have been given an easy lead, but the further she went the better she looked as she thrashed a decent-sized field.
By Irish St Leger winner Jukebox Jury, Attila The Honey is 2lb well in under her penalty, and as a half-sister to a 2m4f-winning hurdler, may well have more to come with even more emphasis on stamina.
