Sedgemoor
Sedgemoor has been in my notebook since he bolted up on his handicap debut in June and can claim another victory in the 7f handicap at Kempton.
He was stuck behind a wall of horses for much of the race that day but produced a telling turn of foot once the gap came to leave his rivals in his wake. The handicapper was suitably impressed as he raised him 8lb.
He wasn't seen again for 107 days until returning in unsuitable conditions at Newbury last month, but he should come on plenty for that effort and there is much more to come.
