One trainer who can do little wrong is Nigel Twiston-Davies, and he has found a superb opportunity for Fantastikas in the 3m1f handicap chase (2.53).

He won’t mind if it hammers down and is now 6lb lower than when landing his last handicap chase at Lingfield nearly three years ago. He also shaped like he could soon be winning again when a three-quarter-length second at Ludlow last December off 1lb higher.

That was on his return from a short break, so he goes well fresh and can bounce back from a poor run on heavy ground at Haydock last December when he didn’t stay 3m4½f.
