Rock N Roll Pinkie

3.50 Nottingham
2pts win

The final race of Nottingham's season (3.50) has attracted a stronger than average field for a Class 6 event and it can go to Rock N Roll Pinkie, who has recorded a win and a second from her last three visits to the course and evidently likes it here.

The four-year-old won a course-and-distance handicap by two and a quarter lengths in June and is only 1lb higher than for that easy victory now. She almost took advantage of the drop in the weights when beating all bar winner Hardy Bloke over course and distance last time.

That was a stronger Class 5 contest and Rock N Roll Pinkie had the reopposing Diamand De Vindecy a long way behind, so must have every chance back at the scene of that good run off the same mark, especially given the ground conditions are on the soft side again.

Her two highest Racing Post Ratings on turf, and both of her wins, came with soft in the going description.
