Love Tree
The best bet at Ludlow is Love Tree, who lines up in the 2m mares’ handicap hurdle.
Trainer James Owen is still flying along and his Love Tree won twice last season, including over course and distance, and she should appreciate returning to hurdles following a disappointing run on her chase debut at Uttoxeter last time, when she touched 1.25 in running before folding tamely.
She is better than that and can be judged on her previous half-length second to the reopposing Tour Ovalie at Hereford 12 days before.
Returning to a speed track will help the selection and she can bounce back with Sam Twiston-Davies taking the reins.
