Graeme Rodway's play of the day at Kempton
Supreme King
The one to be on at Kempton is Supreme King, who has been running well without winning and might be overlooked in the market.
I'm expecting Mezzo Soprano to attract the bulk of the money. She ran well over course and distance last time and represents William Buick and Simon and Ed Crisford, so there is a chance that she will go off very short. However, she hasn't won in a year and is opposable.
Supreme King may offer better value and caught the eye when sixth at Yarmouth three weeks ago, doing good late work to be nearest at the finish and three lengths off winner War Bride.
That form doesn't look too shabby because the runner-up, Huddle Up, has since run well in defeat at Goodwood and well-held eighth, Rawaasi, was second at Southwell on Saturday.
The step up to 7f looks certain to suit Supreme King because he always finishes strongly over shorter and returning to Kempton might also help. His form figures at the course read 2814.
