A horse worth backing at Uttoxeter is Myfanwy's Magic for the Martin Keighley and Sean Bowen combination in the 3m handicap chase (2.30).
The duo continue to enjoy plenty of success together, particularly over fences, striking at 25 per cent in the last five years.
Myfanwy's Magic ran a lovely race on his seasonal debut at Ludlow last month, rallying well for second, and that should have set him up nicely for this first attempt over fences.
With his dam the winner of 30 point-to-points, jumping fences was always likely to be his game, and trainer Martin Keighley has a 30 per cent strike-rate with chasers here in the last five years. He looks to have found a nice opening for Myfanwy's Magic.
