Monday

Flat racing dominates the agenda on Monday with four fixtures across Britain and Ireland.

Archie's Angel looked full of promise when winning on his debut at Haydock and will try to follow up the success at Windsor, where he takes on a full field in the mile novice stakes (5.30).

More last-time-out winners can be found at Brighton, including course-and-distance scorers Bear To Dream and Irezumi, while last year's Pertemps Final winner Good Time Jonny is at Roscommon in a bid for a first success on the Flat.

Racing also takes place at Chepstow, while there is Grade 1 action at Saratoga on the dirt with the Hopeful Stakes (10.43).

Away from the track, keep an eye out on the Racing Post website on Monday evening and in Tuesday's paper for the latest instalment of the Horses Who Made Me series, this week featuring Kieren Fallon.

Tuesday

Calling The Wind is a notable name in the declarations at Goodwood as last year's Northumberland Plate winner seeks to make a winning start after over a year off in the £25,000 2m handicap (4.40).

Goodwood also runs a smart maiden (2.55) with four last-time-out winners, including the smartly bred Radwan. Over at Chepstow, a half-sister to Snow Leopardess, Artemesia, makes her debut over six furlongs (4.23).

Gowran hosts the final turf meeting of the day while there are two all-weather fixtures in the evening at Southwell and Newcastle

Wednesday

A host of unraced fillies look to get off the mark at Lingfield's all-weather card on Wednesday afternoon, with Best Of All, a half-sister to the 2022 Derby runner-up Hoo Ya Mal, and Cheveley Park's Choreographic among the possible runners.

Beautiful Dawn, formerly trained by Joseph O'Brien, makes her first start for Derek Shaw at Southwell in a hat-trick bid in the mile fillies' handicap (2.23), and the all-weather fixtures are completed with Kempton, where Byblos, a half-brother to Classic winner Siskin, could make his first start for John and Thady Gosden over seven furlongs (7.30).

Turf racing is held at Bath and in the evening at Hamilton, while jumps fans get their first meeting of the week at Kilbeggan, where even Willie Mullins could be out with maiden hurdler Where's Nanny

Remember to check out the Racing Post website at 6pm for Tom Segal's Pricewise picks for the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket.

Thursday

Salisbury opens its doors for the Dick Poole Fillies' Stakes (3.50), a Group 3 contest Eve Johnson Houghton will try to win for the second year in a row with her homebred Betty Clover following the success on Juniper Berries in 2023.

Angel Hunter, who was a winner at the Ebor meeting on his last start, could feature on the Salisbury undercard against Dissident, a half-brother to Bluestocking, and the Royal Ascot-placed Woodhay Wonder in the Lochsong Fillies' Handicap (4.25).

A three-day meeting begins at Haydock, where Wathnan Racing colts Defence Minister and Diego Ventura could seek to follow up on their debut wins in the 6f novice stakes (4.17), while Typical Woman vies for a third win on the bounce in the 1m3½f fillies' handicap (5.20).

Newbury, Clonmel and an all-weather card from Wolverhampton complete the offerings.

Friday

Things at Haydock heat up with a £40,000 fillies' novice stakes (2.35). Ralph Beckett, William Haggas and Richard Hannon could all be represented with over half the purse up for grabs for the winner of the 6f contest.

Aidan O'Brien has an entry at Ascot in the Dewhurst entry Aftermath, who was an eyecatching second at Newbury last month and could contest the 7f maiden stakes (2.25). His stablemate Isambard Brunel is entered as well, while Fillies' Mile hopeful Ballet Slippers could contest the following race (3.00).

The final Flat meeting of the day is on the all-weather at Kempton, and the pick of the jump racing is the 2m7f handicap hurdle (3.55) at Bangor, which could feature the consistent topweight Tommie Beau

Saturday

Haydock is at the heart of racing on Saturday as the fascinating Betfair Sprint Cup Stakes gives Britain's top sprinters a chance for Group 1 glory.

The impressive Commonwealth Cup winner Inisherin heads the early market but Elite Status, unbeaten in two starts this year, is another formidable challenger alongside last year's winner Regional.

The track also stages the Group 3 Superior Miles Stakes (1.15) and the Old Borough Cup (2.25), while there is another £100,000 handicap at Ascot with the Lavazza Stakes (2.10).

More Group action can be found on the all-weather, where Kempton hosts the Sirenia (2.00) and September Stakes (2.35) before two valuable series finals over a mile (3.15) and six furlongs (4.20).

Thirsk, Navan and Wolverhampton hold Flat fixtures while the sole jumps meeting of the day is at Stratford, headlined by a 2m1f handicap chase.

Wrapping up the day is action at Kentucky Downs, where Ancient Rome will seek to defend his title in the Mint Millions and stablemate Khaadem tackles the Turf Sprint.

Sunday

Some nice prizes are on offer at York headed by the Listed Garrowby Stakes (4.00), which has been won for the last two years by Michael Dods and Connor Beasley.

Jump racing takes place at Fontwell to round out the action in Britain and Ireland, but attention will be on France for the Group 1 Prix du Moulin at Longchamp
