What's on this week: Babouche and The Lion In Winter put unbeaten records on line in Cheveley Park and €1 million sales race
Monday
The Ballyhane Blenheim Stakes (5.45) is a Listed offering at Fairyhouse, with Amy Murphy saddling her first Flat runner in Ireland with the unbeaten Itsatenfromlen and Archie Watson represented with Sirenia Stakes fourth Vingegaard.
A 1m4f premier handicap (4.20) is the feature on day two of Listowel’s Harvest festival, while Sedgefield hosts its first fixture since May and remembers nine-time course winner Roxyfet by opening the Roxyfet bar and including him in the race title for the opening 2m1f maiden hurdle (2.30). There are also Flat fixtures at Hamilton and Wolverhampton.
Confirmations for the big races at Newmarket on Saturday – the Royal Lodge, Cheveley Park, Middle Park and Cambridgeshire – will be revealed at lunchtime.
Tuesday
Ryan Moore has four rides for Aidan O’Brien on his first visit to Listowel on day three of the Harvest festival.
Fontwell and Warwick host jumps meetings and Beverley’s feature is a 5f conditions stakes (3.20) that has attracted sprinters Clarendon House, Tees Spirit, Emaraaty Ana and King Of Stars. Newcastle hosts an evening all-weather card.

Wednesday
Zanahiyr, Flooring Porter and The Real Whacker are among the high-profile entries in the Kerry National (4.20) at Listowel, while Summer Cup scorer Hang In There could bid to defy top weight in the feature 3m handicap chase at Perth (3.38).
John Smith’s Cup second Botanical could have his first start for George Boughey in the Listed Foundation Stakes (4.05) at Goodwood, where there is also a £100,000 British EBF-sponsored juvenile fillies series final (4.40).
Redcar and Kempton also host meetings, while Members’ Club subscribers can read the final part of Lee Mottershead’s special report into British racing’s leadership structure from 6pm online or in Thursday’s edition.
Thursday
Angelo Buonarroti, an impressive winner of the Convivial maiden at York, and Wathnan Racing’s Defence Minister and Diego Ventura are entered in the Tattersalls Stakes (3.55) on day one of Newmarket’s three-day Cambridgeshire meeting. Lonsdale Cup second Al Nayyir could be in action in the Rose Bowl Stakes (4.30).
Grade 2 runner-up Mossy Fen Park might make his chasing debut (5.10) at Listowel, while Perth, Pontefract and Southwell complete the action in Britain.
Declarations for Saturday’s racing, including the Cambridgeshire, will be confirmed on Thursday morning.
Friday
Formal has impressed in two wins for Sir Michael Stoute and Cheveley Park Stud and could step up in grade in the Rockfel Stakes (3.00) at Newmarket. Park Stakes second Lead Artist is among the entries in an open Joel Stakes (3.35), with four races on the card televised on ITV.
There is a €100,000 Listed handicap hurdle (2.40) at Listowel and £70,000 Fixed Brush Series Novice Handicap Hurdle Final (3.45) at Worcester, while the Diamond Stakes is the highlight on Dundalk’s card. Haydock and Wolverhampton stage the other Friday fixtures.
Saturday
Ger Lyons’ unbeaten Babouche landed the Phoenix Stakes last time and could attempt to win the Cheveley Park Stakes (2.25) sponsored by her owner-breeders Juddmonte at Newmarket, with Lake Victoria and Fairy Godmother among the entries for Aidan O’Brien, who trains Middle Park (3.00) favourite Whistlejacket.
The £175,000 bet365 Cambridgeshire (3.40) is the big betting race, although punters should keep an open mind with the last four winners returning at odds of 40-1, 40-1, 25-1 and 20-1. This Songisforyou, a recent Premier Handicap winner at the Curragh, is a potentially interesting runner for Emmet Mullins.
O’Brien will bid for a record-extending 22nd win in the Beresford Stakes (2.35) at the Curragh. The race’s honour roll includes Sadler’s Wells, Azamour, Sea The Stars and St Nicholas Abbey. He could also run unbeaten Acomb winner and next year's Derby favourite The Lion In Winter in the Goffs Million (3.40).
It is the final day of the Harvest festival at Listowel and Haydock, Ripon, Market Rasen and Chelmsford host action in Britain.
Sunday
The Irish Cesarewitch (4.25), worth a whopping €600,000, takes place at the Curragh on Sunday and there are two Group 3s on the card with the Renaissance Stakes (3.50) and Weld Park Stakes (2.40).
Epsom’s card features the Derby “Wild Card” Conditions Stakes and the Apprentices’ Derby and the other Flat meeting takes place at Ffos Las.
