What's on this week: Buveur D'Air could return for Kelso's £100,000 Morebattle
Monday
Qualifiers for the Racing Post Go North Series continue at Carlisle, which hosts a seven-race jumps card on Monday.
Emmet Mullins sends one runner to Britain in the novice limited handicap chase (1.35), where Rightplacerightime will take on Coole Hall, who bids to make a winning return to rules after a season pointing for the yard of Rose Dobbin.
More jump racing comes from Plumpton, where veteran chaser Un Prophete will seek to follow up on an 18-length romp at Fontwell this month in the conditional jockeys handicap chase (2.25), while evening all-weather racing comes from Wolverhampton.
Tuesday
It's another quiet day of racing on Tuesday with just three meetings across Britain, headed by jumps fixtures at Leicester and Catterick, which includes more Go North qualifiers.
Catterick's six-race card also includes an intriguing novice chase (1.30) which is set to feature Mackenberg, who has stormed to victory in his last two starts for Donald McCain following a wind operation and takes on just two rivals in this 2m3f test.
The sole Flat meeting of the day comes from Newcastle, where Listed winners Mehmento and Judicial are set to clash against just two other rivals in the 6f conditions stakes (7.00).
Wednesday
Jump racing comes from Musselburgh and Wincanton, where Paddy's Poem could bid for back-to-back successes in the 2m4f handicap chase (2.30) against the hat-trick seeking Rockstar Ronnie.
Flat racing comes from Lingfield plus an evening meeting at Kempton which features the "Road To The Kentucky Derby" Conditions Stakes (7.00).
The contest was won last year by Highland Avenue en route to Listed success and winning trainer Charlie Appleby will be looking to repeat the feat for Godolphin with Blue Trail.
Kempton's undercard also includes a competitive 1m2f handicap (5.30), where the unbeaten Tyrrhenian Sea could put that record on the line as he steps up in trip against distance winners Chance and United Front.
Thursday
It's a quiet start to the week in Ireland but racing gets underway at Clonmel with a seven-race jumps card while Ludlow hosts the Forbra Gold Cup (3.00), where Head To The Stars could line up in the hunt for a hat-trick in the 3m handicap chase for trainer Henry Daly.
Also on track for a third win on the bounce is Rockstar Ronnie, who could omit his Wincanton entry on Wednesday in favour of the 2m4f novice limited handicap chase (2.00).
More jump racing comes from Taunton while Flat meetings are held at Southwell and Newcastle, which could see Northumberland Plate winner Nicholas T line up in the feature 2m½f handicap (3.46).
Friday
Barbados Buck's has struggled to regain the form of his promising novice hurdle season this term and will hope to leave behind two pulled-up efforts in the 3m handicap hurdle (4.05) at Newbury for Paul Nicholls, who will be seeking more winners at the track with entries for Get The Appeal (2.55) and Grade 2 runner-up Gelino Bello (3.30).
More jump action on Friday can be found at Doncaster which opens with a competitive veterans' handicap chase (2.00) before Corey's Courage, who has made a strong start to hurdling this season, bids for a fourth successive win in the mares' novice hurdle (4.15).
A seven-race Flat card at Lingfield and an all-weather fixture at Newcastle wrap up Friday's racing in Britain, while Ireland's Dundalk meeting includes the Listed Patton Stakes, won for the last two years by Joseph O'Brien.
Saturday
Saturday's showpiece contest takes place in Scotland on Saturday as Kelso hosts its lucrative Morebattle Hurdle day, where the £100,000 feature handicap hurdle (3.15) includes entries for Metier, Balco Coastal and Buveur D'Air.
The Grade 2 Premier Novices' Hurdle (1.30), won last year by My Drogo, also supports Kelso's undercard while more Graded action can be found in Ireland where Navan hosts the Grade 3 Flyingbolt Novice Chase.
Jump racing continues at Newbury where the Greatwood Gold Cup (1.50) headlines the card but plenty is on offer for older jump runners, with the seniors' handicap hurdle (3.37) and leg three of the Veterans' Chase Series (1.15) also featuring on Saturday's card.
Doncaster holds a competitive seven-race card which is headed by the Grimthorpe Handicap Chase (3.30), with a Listed mares' hurdle (2.20) and a valuable 2m½f handicap chase (2.55) also among the offerings at the South Yorkshire track.
Flat racing comes from Southwell and Lingfield, which features the Listed Coral Spring Cup Stakes (4.19) on its seven-race afternoon card.
Sunday
Ireland has its busiest day of the week with two meetings on Sunday at Wexford and Leopardstown.
Leopardstown's Sunday card is the first day in its double-header National Hunt Finale weekend, with the TRI Equestrian Handicap Steeplechase headlining Sunday's card.
British racing comes from Sedgefield and Huntingdon, which hold afternoon jumps cards and are both set to feature competitive handicap chases.
