Robbie Wilders with a pair of classy sorts who make each-way appeal in Newbury's valuable handicap hurdle on Saturday

The William Hill Handicap Hurdle is the pinnacle for two-mile handicap hurdlers in Britain and its purse dwarfs Cheltenham’s County Hurdle. Handicaps of such prestige command an extensive list of entries, and that's what we have.
The previous two winners of this Newbury contest – Iberico Lord and Aucunrisque – are there along with Hansard and Navajo Indy, the past two winners of the Gerry Feilden, a noted trial for this over the same course and distance. They may be joined by Fiercely Proud, who picked up Ascot’s lucrative handicap hurdle on Long Walk day in December.
None of these are in the front rank of the early betting, though, as the top two spots are occupied by Secret Squirrel and Joyeuse.
