2020 Virtual Grand National: the full list of the 40 runners, riders and odds
Racing fans can look forward to a simulated substitute of the world's most famous steeplechase as 40 runners and riders go to post in the Virtual Grand National, broadcast on ITV1 at 5pm on Saturday, April 4.
The pre-recorded event uses algorithms and CGI animation to run the race and is designed to recreate the unique Aintree test, which was cancelled on March 16 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Bookmakers pledge profits from Virtual Grand National will go to NHS charities
Bookmakers have priced up the contest and plan to donate any profits to NHS Charities Together, with stakes limited to £10 per horse per customer or £10 each-way per horse. The Tote will also be providing a pool on the race and donating profits to charity.
Below are the runners and riders for the big race, including Tiger Roll, who missed out to Rathvinden in the virtual edition last year before recording back-to-back victories in the real thing at Aintree.
