Jamie Benson, Tote Of the O’Brien trio, I like Jan Brueghel most as he looks to be saving a bit for himself and can continue to improve up in trip. I’ll likely play him in Exactas and Trifectas with the Irish Derby second Sunway, who arguably has some of the strongest form.

Ed Bethell, trainer Illinois is the favourite and fully entitled to be. He was an impressive winner over 1m6f at Royal Ascot and his two runs at 1m4f since were very smart, especially when just touched off by Los Angeles at York.

Leonna Mayor, broadcaster Jan Brueghel has to be taken seriously. He’s big, green and raw, but upped in trip here, he’ll have more time to get organised and the straightforward track will only help.
