'If she relaxes, it will take something special to beat her' - our expert panel's views on a top weekend

Who wins the Sun Chariot?

Jane Chapple-Hyam, trainer We won the race three years ago with Saffron Beach and if we had a runner in it this year I would be most scared of Tamfana. I think the three-year-olds will hold sway over the older fillies and mares and she has form at the track.

Matt Gardner, Racing Post Ratings I’ve got problems with all of these so it’s tempting to chance Darnation, who might be the rank outsider but she’s not miles off the other three-year-olds on form. This time last year she was sent off second-favourite for the Prix Marcel Boussac and we’ve only seen her four times since, so there’s a chance her ability hasn’t been maxed out yet.

Sally Ann Grassick, broadcaster I'm excited to be covering the race for ITV as the rest of the team will be at Ascot. It's a small but open field and although it would be lovely to see one of the talented older mares in Inspiral or Nashwa back to their best, I'm going to go with Tamfana to start off what I hope will be an excellent weekend for David Menuisier.
