Delacroix and Anno Domini look potential improvers at three after intriguing Futurity
The Futurity Trophy was an intriguing running on paper, featuring Pattern-race winners Hotazhell, Delacroix and Wimbledon Hawkeye alongside a host of unexposed sorts stepping up in grade.
The more proven commodities came to the fore with Hotazhell and Delacroix fighting out a tight finish and pulling well clear of the standard-setting Wimbledon Hawkeye.
The first two rate as decent improvers and, with just a nose separating them at the line, both now have the same Racing Post Rating of 116. That puts them on the ten-year average winning RPR in the Futurity.
