Three runners to note from Hexham, Huntingdon and Sligo this evening
There are three meetings to get stuck into this evening, with Flat action at Sligo along with jumps cards from Hexham and Huntingdon. Here are three runners to note
Third in a 30-runner apprentice handicap at the Curragh last time out, Thiswaycadeaux has been running well of late, and her turn may not be far away.
That form from earlier in the month is working out, with the fifth, Dandys Gold, successful at Cork. Thiswaycadeaux has solid claims and should be in the mix.
Jonjo O'Neill's runners making their handicap debuts are always worth a second look, and Ready And Able could make an impact this evening.
There are plenty of winners within the five-year-old's pedigree and, while he has only hinted at ability in four previous starts, he starts handicapping from a mark of 110 and also gets to run on quicker ground for the first time.
A seven-race maiden, Rising Marienbard has been showing gradual improvement, and turned in his best effort to date last time out when runner-up over hurdles at the track.
He now starts off over fences, which should be no problem judged on pedigree, and Rising Marienbard was victorious in an Irish point before joining trainer Lucinda Russell.
