Was it a big day?

No. It was a standard jumps meeting, but unfortunately with a fairly off-putting forecast for racegoers.

How much was entry on the gate?

£19.50 general admission and £14.50 for concessions, aged 60 and over.

Other than restaurants/hospitality, what were the food and beverage options?

Extremely limited. The Jonathan Davies grandstand had a bar and there was a burger van next to the stand. Food options were noticeably poor, either a hot dog or burger and no vegetarian or vegan option.

McCoy's bar looked a promising facility but it was closed.

What's the damage?

Bottle of water: £2
Cheapest pint: £5.40 Carlsberg or Shipyard
Guinness: £6.10
Burger: £6.50 for a classic burger

All drink prices taken from the Blinkers bar in the Jonathan Davies grandstand.

What was the burger like?

Not bad. Some flavour, plenty of onions and served in a good roll. Sold as 'Gourmet' but that seems a tad far-fetched. 2/5.

And the queues?

None, it felt extremely quiet.
