'So cruel' - Harriet Graham defends Callum Bewley following social media abuse

Harriet Graham has blasted social media users after jockey Callum Bewley came in for criticism following Aye Right’s narrow defeat in the Sky Bet Handicap Chase at Doncaster on Saturday.

Having led for much of the way on the strong travelling eight-year-old, Bewley lost his whip on the run between the third- and second-last fences before being edged out by a length and a quarter by the Nicky Richards-trained 12-year-old Takingrisks.

While gutted at the outcome, Graham launched a staunch defence of Bewley's ride and lambasted the "cruel" side to social media.
