Executives at Doncaster have unveiled plans to incorporate Sunday into the four-day St Leger meeting in 2023, in a move they hope will appeal to racegoers.

The festival, which starts on September 7 this year, is traditionally run from Wednesday to Saturday but, while the Cazoo St Leger will remain in its current Saturday spot, the meeting is set to start a day later on Thursday and conclude on Sunday from next year.
