Inspiral impresses as she books ticket for Friday's Group 1 test
Several times a week, the Racing Post's Newmarket correspondent David Milnes is up at the crack of dawn surveying the massed racehorses of Newmarket as they work on the town's famous gallops.

July festival superstars
Inspiral is set to add further glamour to next week’s July festival at Newmarket after booking her ticket for Friday’s Group 1 Falmouth Stakes with a smart workout on the Cambridge Road Polytrack on Saturday morning. Robert Havlin was in the saddle as the unbeaten daughter of Frankel swept by classy colt Mostahdaf in front of a Clarehaven throng looking on from the watch tower. The Coronation Stakes winner will have a new jockey in Friday’s mile contest following the split between Frankie Dettori and the Gosdens. Mostahdaf, second in the Hardwicke Stakes last time, is already favourite for the Group 2 Princess Of Wales’s Stakes.
