The Cheltenham Festival is the ultimate betting event and understanding how best to take advantage of the plethora of bookmaker offers available is crucial for punters seeking an edge. In this race-by-race guide to the best day-three offers, RP Recommends' Tom Park provides a comprehensive overview of the market . . .
Mares' Novices' Hurdle
1.20 Cheltenham, Thursday
As was the case in the opener on the first two days, William Hill are once again offering Top Price Guaranteed from 12pm the day before the race until the off and are Best Odds Guaranteed from 8am on Tuesday morning, which are two powerful concessions to have at your disposal.
I like the chances of Sixandahalf, who is a very good Flat horse, and has transferred that talent to hurdling. She's likely to be favourite but you'll get the best price William Hill
RP Recommends: William Hill
Jack Richards Novices' Limited Handicap Chase
2.00 Cheltenham, Thursday
A new race and I want to have places on my side as this is full of unexposed novice chases. Sky Bet set the standard on the place terms with six (others are best five) and I think Lord Of Thunder will give you a great run for your money with six places on offer. He looked like winning a similar race to this at Cheltenham in October before falling two out and looks well handicapped off 134. Sky Bet are also have a bet £5, get £5 promotion.

Pertemps Final
2.40 Cheltenham, Thursday
Another minefield of a race where I want places on my side and Sky Bet are once again a standout with seven on offer. I really like Will The Wise's profile for this and would be disappointed if he is at least not in the top seven.
RP Recommends: Sky Bet

Ryanair Chase
3.20 Cheltenham, Thursday
I fancy Fact To File to get the better of Il Est Francais here and will be keeping an eye out on price boosts across the firms. William Hill have been boosting a number of horses this week and would be a good starting point. They are also BOG. There are no extra each-way places so all firms are the standard three.
RP Recommends: William Hill

Stayers' Hurdle
4.00 Cheltenham, Thursday
This is all about whether you fancy Teahupoo or not. If you do, bet365 might be the best place to start as he looks a prime contender for their daily Super Boost. Even if you want to take him on, bet365 are the firm to bet with as they are going four places. I am a huge fan of The Wallpark and would be disappointed if he was out the four. William Hill are Top Price Guaranteed, but are only three places, so are worth considering for singles bets.
RP Recommends: bet365

Festival Plate
4.40 Cheltenham, Thursday
All recognised firms are five places on this race, but this race is all about Jagwar for me. Hunting around for the best price is essential, but bet365 and William Hill have boosted a lot of favourites this week and are BOG.
RP Recommends: bet365

Kim Muir
5.20 Cheltenham, Thursday
No extra places here with most firms going five. I think Mint Boy looks really solid for last year's winning trainer Gavin Cromwell and under the guidance of very good amateur rider Barry O'Neill. bet365 and William Hill have been the most competitive on price generally this week and are a good place to start, but be sure to look around.
