ROA leadership reject thoughts of resignation following turbulent period

The president and chief executive of the Racehorse Owners Association (ROA) told the body's annual meeting on Thursday they had not considered resigning following a turbulent period for the organisation.

The ROA's leadership has been the subject of pointed criticism, with one member telling the Racing Post the body had "long ceased to adequately represent the interests of owners".

Sam Hoskins resigned from the ROA board in April complaining that it was being run "like a dictatorship" and it was he who asked Charlie Parker and Charlie Liverton if they had considered their positions.
