'Zeyaadah is the one to take from the race' - our experts on the Classic trials
'She looked to answer stamina doubts'
I tipped Youth Spirit in the Chester Vase in the belief that it was a sub-par edition and he would be favoured by the cut in the ground.
With that in mind, I would be worried about fast conditions in the Cazoo Derby. His two victories have come with give underfoot and although he ran well when third on good ground in the Group 2 Vintage Stakes as a juvenile, I do not think he has the speed to live with the very best.
Dubai Fountain's victory in the Cheshire Oaks was impressive, though again she may lack the class to win at Epsom. Zeyaadah is the filly to take out of the race. She didn't get a clean trip and looked to answer stamina doubts.

'I like Bolshoi Ballet the most'
With respect to trial winners Dubai Fountain and Youth Spirit, I wouldn't be getting carried away with their performances.
I thought Sandhurst shaped well in the Chester Vase but Aidan O'Brien has superior colts at home, and of those I like Bolshoi Ballet the most.
There does not appear to be a standout performer among the three-year-olds so I'm looking forward to seeing what the trials at Lingfield and Leopardstown unearth.

'She looks a solid each-way candidate'
Cheshire Oaks second Zeyaadah did not get the clearest of runs but I’m not convinced she would have won anyway so Dubai Fountain is the one to follow with Epsom in mind.
Trainer Mark Johnston revealed in a post-race interview that the Oaks has been earmarked for her since last year and she relished the step up to 1m3½f to land this Listed event.
She has plenty of experience from her juvenile campaign and has improved nicely with time. She looks a solid each-way Oaks candidate at 14-1.
