Teenage sensation Darragh O'Sullivan is rapidly making a name for himself and the 16-year-old rode his third winner in the space of nine days when 18-1 shot Mile End landed the mile apprentice handicap in great style for Ciaran Murphy.

O'Sullivan, the son of Michelstown-based trainer Danny, celebrated his first winner at Killarney in July on Dynamic Force and he has now moved his total to five, which includes 50-1 winner Relevant Range at Listowel last week.

O'Sullivan has been booked for one ride at Bellewstown on Thursday – Tastyee in the first division of the 1m4f handicap for Ken Budds.

Keane at the double

Colin Keane is edging ever closer to a sixth jockeys' title and a double on Gandolfo and Escaping Thejungle kept the ball rolling.

Those two winners moved him on to 91 for the campaign and nine clear of Billy Lee in the title race.

Keane swooped late on the Noel Meade-trained Gandolfo in the claiming maiden over a mile and then made all the running on the speedy Escaping Thejungle in the 5f handicap, following up last year's success in the same race.

Second success for Coen

There was a second success for 10lb claimer Sam Coen, who landed the 1m4½f handicap on Arch Enemy.

Coen, like O'Sullivan, is a graduate of the pony racing circuit and he broke his duck at Gowran Park last month on Rock Etoile.

He didn't waste much time in doubling that account as Arch Enemy stayed on strongly to score at 7-1 for trainer Patrick Magee.

Series win for Cleary

Jack Cleary edged out Amy Jo Hayes 76-74 to win the Barney Curley Apprentice Series after finishing second on Copie Conforme in the final race.
