From day one all the way through to the sundown on one of the biggest and brightest festivals on the Irish racing calendar, this year’s week in the west did not disappoint.

And the Sunday, just as it has done for the past three years, belonged to Brian Ellison as his Dream Walker completed back-to-back victories in the feature €100,000 ‘Ahonoora’ handicap.

Baraweez, successful in the 2014 and 2015 runnings of this race, filled the runner-up spot behind his stablemate while Be Kool completed a clean sweep for the Ellison team.
