There rarely seems to be a bad Greenham nowadays, but how good was this year's?

The benchmark performance in the Greenham Stakes will always be Frankel’s four-length blitzing of Excelebration in 2011, but Olympic Glory (2013) progressed to be a Group 1 mile performer, as did Kingman (2014), while Muhaarar, successful in 2015, took a different route, ending up a multiple top-level winner in sprints.

Barney Roy in 2017 gained a Group 1 victory at Royal Ascot, while James Garfield got the better of Expert Eye and Hey Gaman last year, who all either won or went close in a Group 1.
