'She's a big galloper' - Aruntothequeen scoops Listed pot at 25-1 for Jessica Harrington and Harry Swan

Aruntothequeen was a shock 25-1 winner of the concluding mares' bumper, but there was no fluke about her stylish success in the Listed event.

Mozzies Sister, a two-time winner, was sent off even-money favourite and she went clear with Aruntothequeen from the home turn, but the Jessica Harrington-trained five-year-old was in no mood to be denied and pulled clear for a three-length success under Harry Swan, who had also won the bumper at Clonmel 24 hours earlier.

Swan told Racing TV: "It's a brilliant result. She's a big galloper and all she does is stay. She's a lovely filly to look forward to. Definitely when she goes up to three miles it will be her optimum trip. She's a proper good staying type of filly."

Aurora Vega won the race last year and another daughter of Quevega was in the line-up again, but Cameletta Vega was easy to back and could finish only seventh.

Joy at last

Lot Of Joy has been a busy girl since joining Willie Mullins and few could begrudge her a second success for the stable in the 2m hurdle after running some big races in big handicaps over the last 12 months.

The 5-6 market leader found plenty for pressure to make Paul Townend's only ride of the day a winning one when scoring by eight and a half lengths.

No joy for Jacob

Daryl Jacob's return to action didn't pan out exactly as he was hoping as 2-5 favourite Mr Percy stalled on the approach to the first hurdle in the opening 2m maiden hurdle and unshipped his rider. The race was won by 4-1 shot Tonaghneave Well for Gavin Cromwell and Keith Donoghue.
