Purple-patch for small-scale Perratt continues at Hamilton
Winners of any kind are an absolute premium for small training operations, and East Kilbride trainer Linda Perratt was left celebrating her second winner at Hamilton in six days when Jordan Electrics made all in the 6f handicap.
As a three-year-old, the 9-2 shot was in receipt of as much as 16lb from some of his older rivals, but knuckled down well under 3lb claimer Ben Robinson to hold off Epeius by three-quarters of a length.
Perratt said: "He did it well in the end after being a little bit unlucky here last week. He is due to go up in the weights so we thought there was no harm in bringing him back here to have another go and it's great that's turned out to be the right decision."
