Marquand magic on the all-weather again before dash to Dubai
Tom Marquand continued his remarkable run of form with a treble at Chelmsford on Friday, taking his tally to seven wins from his last 12 rides.
Marquand, who is riding Pablo Escobarr in the Group 2 Dubai City Of Gold at Meydan on Saturday, has spent most of his time abroad this year but has had a profitable couple of weeks at home, polished off nicely with winning rides for trainers Tony Carroll, Robert Cowell and Mohamed Moubarak.
The jockey said: “They were all good rides on paper and I was hoping I’d nick a winner or two, but it was another good day in the saddle.
