'Lightly raced and improving' Glynn seals chasing hat-trick for Owners Group and Anthony Honeyball
Glynn completed a hat-trick over fences in less than a month when landing the 2m5f novice chase.
The ten-year-old runs for the Owners Group and jumped particularly well on his way to fending off the challenge of Lallygag by three-quarters of a length under Sam Twiston-Davies.
Glynn is entered at Warwick and Perth next week but the Anthony Honeyball-trained chaser could step up in grade, with the Rising Stars at Wincanton on November 9 among the options if the ground remains quick.
Dan Downie, racing manager to the Owners Group, said: “It was a really good performance and he’s gone from strength to strength in the last couple of months.
“He’s lightly raced for his age and looks to be improving. He appears to have appreciated a change in scenery, which can happen, and we’ve had a clear run with him in the last year.
“He’s a very good jumper and we could potentially pitch him in a bit deeper if the ground stays on the quick side in the next month.”
Debra Hamer's Hold Your Fort was another in-form chaser to continue his winning run when sealing a four-timer under James Best in the 3m2f handicap chase.
Progressive Eagle
Wonderful Eagle took his hurdles record to 3-6 when justifying favouritism in the feature 2m5½f handicap hurdle for Micheal Nolan and trainers Philip Hobbs and Johnson White.
Versatile jockey
Taylor Fisher predominantly plies his trade on the Flat but gained a second win over jumps aboard Daany for Joe Tickle in division one of the 2m1f handicap hurdle.
