Jumping on the agenda for unbeaten Hello Neighbour after 40-1 Triumph Hurdle quote
The unbeaten Hello Neighbour could have the Triumph Hurdle on his radar after Gavin Cromwell said jumping is now on the agenda for the promising three-year-old following his stylish success in the 1m2f rated race.
The gelded son of Harzand was the subject of a massive plunge on his debut at Navan when he was backed from 25-1 into 9-2 before landing a maiden in the manner of an above-average recruit, and he confirmed that promise with an even more emphatic victory in a better race this time round.
Hello Neighbour was again strong in the market, going off evens after being as big as 7-4 earlier in the day, and he coasted clear in the closing stages for a three-length victory over Cheeky Wink.
Cromwell said of the Gary Carroll-ridden winner: "We're going to go hurdling with him now and hopefully he's a good horse."
Hello Neighbour was priced at 40-1 with Unibet for the 2025 Triumph Hurdle and was the second leg of a 12-1 double for Cromwell and Carroll, who earlier won the second division of the 7½f handicap with Breezy Zoff.
It had been a long time between drinks for the five-year-old, with her only other win in 34 prior appearances a Curragh handicap almost two years ago at odds of 25-1.
Breezy Zoff was only 11-2 this time and stayed on strongly to master Asisaid close home.
