'I've had a sh** year, so that was sweet, really sweet' - Tony Martin celebrates first post-suspension winner at Cheltenham
Life has been giving Tony Martin plenty of lemons of late, but he is back making lemonade again.
It has been, in the words of the trainer himself, a "sh**" year", as an initial three-month suspension for breaking anti-doping rules was extended to five months when he joined in the celebrations after Alphonse Le Grande won the Northumberland Vase at Newcastle while he was still serving his ban.
Then there was the Cesarewitch fiasco with the same Alphonse Le Grande, who won the race, then lost it, and only won it back again in a room in London the other day.
