What promised to be the best race of the season more than lived up to expectations both as a spectacle and in terms of the ratings produced by the leading players.
In posting a winning figure of 181+, Shishkin earned the best RPR from a two-mile chaser since former stablemate Altior ran to 183 when slamming Min by seven lengths in the 2018 Champion Chase.
