Hannon repeats last year's sales race win with Tangled

Richard Hannon's number one priority at York this week was to win the Juddmonte International with Barney Roy and while he will have to wait at least another year to taste success in the £1 million prize, success in sales races continues to come easy to him.

Together with bloodstock agents Peter and Ross Doyle and jockey Sean Levey, Hannon produced Stormy Clouds to win the £300,000 Goffs Premier Yearling Stakes last year and they returned to bank the £184,000 first prize when £67,000 buy Tangled beat Great Prospector and Hey Jonesy.

"We always liked him quite a bit," said Hannon.
