While his executive orders since becoming US president have been met with differing degrees of success, Donald Trump was involved in a high-profile victory on Saturday when teaming up with connections of Tupi, the first winner of the British turf season at Doncaster.

Trainer Richard Hannon and owners Michael Kerr-Dineen and Martin Hughes arrived in the Sikorsky S76B helicopter owned by Trump, who rents out the $7 million machine when he is not in Britain.

The rental is managed by J-Max Air Services, who operate out of Blackpool.

Prior to winning the presidency, Trump kept the helicopter in Britain primarily so he could commute to and from his golf courses in Scotland and Ireland.
