All The Glory returned to winning ways when justifying 3-1 favouritism in the 2m4f mares' handicap hurdle.

The Jonjo and AJ O’Neill-trained seven-year-old had finished no better than fifth in four starts since landing a £55,000 Grade 2 handicap at Newbury in March, but she benefited from Benjamin Macey’s 10lb claim here.

The topweight was effectively competing off 6lb lower than her nine-length March victory, and she relished to drop in class to score by two and a quarter lengths from three-time course winner Sunday Solider.

“She’s very good on her day,” Macey told Racing TV. “She’s come straight back to form and hopefully she’ll keep kicking from there now.”

Macey had pulled up his first ever mount at the track, Sefton Warrior, in the 2m4f conditional jockeys’ handicap hurdle won by Theirshegoes, but the 20-year-old’s first experience of riding under rules in Scotland was ultimately made worthwhile.

“It was a long one up here yesterday but I’ll say it’ll fly by tonight,” he said. “That was my fourth winner and I’ve had three this season.”

Hat-trick heroine

You Some Girl followed up wins at Newcastle and Catterick to complete a hat-trick in the 3m novice handicap hurdle.

Wearing the colours of the late John Wade, who died last month, Charlie Maggs guided the Rebecca Menzies-trained seven-year-old to a seven-and-a-half-length victory over Anamanda, ridden by Conor O'Farrell.

O'Farrell won the following 2m7½f handicap chase on Dr Shirocco for Sandy Forster, while Menzies went on to complete a double when her Swingingonthesteel landed the bumper under Nathan Moscrop.

Another Wise victory

Wise Eagle continued his love affair with Musselburgh, when adding a first victory over hurdles to his four Flat successes at the track, after he landed the odds in the 1m7½f maiden.
