Jim Crowley praises 'proper horse' Baaeed with unbeaten star now 5-2 for QEII
Baaeed produced a scintillating performance on his first start in Group company to take his record to four from four under Jim Crowley.
The 2-5 favourite loomed up on the outside inside the final two furlongs before being pushed out in the closing stages to slam Dee Stakes winner El Drama. Tasman Bay was third.
Trainer William Haggas said: "That was very impressive. I'm thrilled because I wasn't sure about the ground but every time he runs he keeps putting in that sort of level or performance.

"It's fantastic. Jim said a loose shoe came flying off on the way round and missed him by very little.
"I can't see any point going up in trip at the moment, what's the point? We'll keep him at a mile and he's in the Prix Jacques Le Marois, the Celebration Mile and the Prix du Moulin."

Crowley said: "He's got an engine on him. He was a bit slow from the gate and I was happy to sit out back early on and get in a nice rhythm.
"He was going really nicely when I pulled him out. He really is a proper horse, you'd like to think he's a Group 1 horse but you never know until they go and do it."
Betfair Sportsbook introduced Baaeed at 5-2 for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Ascot on Champions Day.
