5lb claimer handed 14-day non-trier ban by Bangor stewards after defeat on Olly Murphy outsider
Beau Morgan was handed a 14-day ban for failing to achieve the best possible placing on Champagnesuperover in the 2m4½f handicap chase.
The 5lb claimer finished tenth on the Olly Murphy-trained 22-1 shot but was suspended following a stewards' inquiry, in which officials determined he had failed to take "all reasonable and permissible measures" to win and "failed to ride his mount in such a way that he could be seen to ask for timely, real and substantial effort to obtain the best possible placing".

Made some ground from the rear going to the second-last, from which point his jockey appeared to do no more than nudge him out. The stewards held an inquiry into his running and riding and suspended Beau Morgan for 14 days for failing to ride his mount in such a way that he could be seen to ask for timely, real and substantial effort to obtain the best possible placing.

Morgan said his instructions were to creep into the race with the aim of making a late challenge but he heard a respiratory noise at the third-last fence, which he reported to the raceday assistant after being informed of the stewards' inquiry.
The report read: "Champagnesuperover began to make both steady and eyecatching progress under sympathetic handling and Morgan justified his apparent lack of effort, by reiterating the fact that the gelding is a weak finisher, and it was his intention to get there as late as possible for this reason, but on this occasion having jumped the last fence the gelding emptied out again.
"Murphy reported that his instructions were to ride Champagnesuperover with restraint and to get there late. Having become aware of the respiratory noise, Murphy continued that he was satisfied with the ride and that he would have the gelding seen by a vet regarding its respiratory issue.
"Morgan was suspended for 14 days for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures throughout the race, in that he had failed to ride his mount in such a way that he could be seen to ask for timely, real and substantial effort to obtain the best possible placing."
The jockey's ban is set to run from November 27 to December 10.
Celebre conquers
Callum Pritchard's sensational run of form continued with another feature success over fences when Celebre D'Allen won the 3m handicap chase.
The 7lb claimer, who enjoyed his first win two weeks ago, won the Badger Beer on Saturday before scoring with the Philip Hobbs and Johnson White-trained Celebre D'Allen.
The 12-year-old was shortened to 25-1 with Betfair for next month's Becher Chase, in which he finished fourth last year.
Anything four-timer
Shecouldbeanything secured her fourth win on the bounce when battling to victory in the Listed mares' novice chase.
The Gordon Elliott-trained runner was cut to 33-1 with Paddy Power for the Mares' Chase at the Cheltenham Festival after stoutly fending off You Wear It Well to win under Sean Bowen.
