Support for 11-1 Measure Of Magic in wide-open Flying Childers at Doncaster
The Lir Jet a non-runner as English King heads to France
Measure Of Magic has been backed into a general 11-1 (from 18) for Friday's Group 2 Bombardier Flying Childers Stakes (2.40), which was reduced to ten runners following the withdrawal of The Lir Jet.
The Norfolk winner, who had been second favourite behind Sacred for the 5f contest, was taken out this morning due to drying ground and could next be aimed at the Juddmonte Middle Park on September 26.
Sacred is now no bigger than 11-8 at the top of the Flying Childers market, with Frenetic (9-2) and Steel Bull (5-1) next in the betting.
The Johnny Murtagh-trained Measure Of Magic, who finished third in a Naas Listed contest this month, sits behind Frankie Dettori's ride Mohawk King in the betting.

There has also been support for Apollo One, who has been backed into 10-1 (from 12) to upset the short-priced favourite One Ruler in a competitive running of the bet365 Flying Scotsman Stakes (3.45).
The son of Equiano was an impressive winner on his Newmarket debut before finishing third in the Group 3 Solario Stakes last time.
Punters have been drawn to The Grand Visir, who has marginally shortened to 9-1 (from 10) for the bet365 Doncaster Cup (3.15), for which the Andrew Balding-trained Spanish Mission remains favourite.
The ground at Doncaster was changed to good (from good, good to soft in places on the round course) on Friday morning, with an updated GoingStick reading of 7.4 and a dry outlook for the day.

English King was confirmed as a non-runner in Saturday's Pertemps St Leger on Friday morning.
His trainer Ed Walker had been leaning towards running the Lingfield Derby Trial winner in Sunday's Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris.
The trainer is planning on booking Frankie Dettori as the jockey is set to be at Longchamp to ride Stradivarius – who, like English King, is owned by Bjorn Nielsen – in his Arc prep in the Prix Foy.
