The Dysart Enos hype is understandable - but the Greatwood value lies with this runner in top form
There is sometimes a notable bias towards a horse with potential over a seasoned campaigner and we’re seeing that in spades in the Greatwood market. That said, the hype that is forcing down the prices of Dysart Enos and Burdett Road is understandable.
Here we have two rising stars with five victories from six hurdles starts between them. Dysart Enos is yet to lose in any discipline, while Burdett Road’s sole defeat in this sphere came against a special juvenile in Sir Gino. Marks in the low 130s almost certainly underestimate these two fast horses.
Fergal O’Brien would have hand-picked this sort of surface for Dysart Enos, who has been withdrawn twice on account of testing ground. Her enforced absence from the Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at the festival due to lameness has protected her rating and O’Brien will surely have her fit first time out.
