Pic D'Orhy and Quel Destin give Ditcheat strong Triumph Hurdle hand
I’m really looking forward to riding Pic D’Orhy for Paul Nicholls in the JCB Triumph Hurdle (1.30). He’s an exciting horse who makes his debut for Ditcheat after running in Grade 1 and 2 hurdles in France.
Paul has been happy with his progress this spring, and Pic D’Orhy worked nicely at Wincanton last Friday.
He is potentially very smart – his French form tells you that – and, while the demands of a Triumph Hurdle around Cheltenham are totally different to what he’s been experiencing at Auteuil, we’re expecting a big run.
