One standout quote for all seven of the races at Cheltenham on Friday

Ahead of day four of the 2021 Cheltenham Festival, we've picked out one key quote from every race on Friday . . .

Zanahiyr
1.20 Cheltenham
Triumph Hurdle

Denise Foster, trainer of Zanahiyr: "He's been a natural since he first jumped a hurdle. He's had a great season up to now. The team here have always loved him. He's had the perfect prep and hopefully he is the one they all have to beat."

Third Time Lucki
1.55 Cheltenham
County Hurdle

Dan Skelton, trainer of Third Time Lucki: "He was fourth in the Champion Bumper last year when Appreciate It was just in front of him and we know festival form counts for a lot. He's in good form and we picked this race for him as we think it'll suit and the drying ground should too. I think the New course will be better than the Old course but it's a hyper-competitive race."

The Cob
2.30 Cheltenham
Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle

Ben Pauling, trainer of The Cob: "We supplemented him on Saturday. He won the River Don pretty easily and is probably our best chance of the week. He's come through his preparations faultlessly and will go well if he handles the quicker ground."

Cheltenham Gold Cup

Willie Mullins, trainer of Al Boum Photo: "Al Boum has travelled over well and has taken his training all year without a hitch. We're pleased to have him back here in the form he's in. A dry track is probably the only negative we have at the moment but he's been here and done it twice and we couldn't be happier. You might dream you have a horse to win one Gold Cup but a second and now going for a third is off the scale."

Hunters' Chase

Paul Nicholls, trainer of Bob And Co: "This will probably be as good ground as he's run on for a while because most of his form has been on really soft ground. Being a bit older he might appreciate it. He won his prep race nicely at Haydock and I hope he has a nice chance."

4.15 Cheltenham
Mares' Chase

Willie Mullins, trainer of Elimay: "Elimay had a great run behind Allaho in Thurles and her experience and natural jumping ability will be a great asset in this contest. Underfoot conditions will be a big help too. We're very happy with her."

Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle

Gavin Cromwell, trainer of Gabynako: "Hopefully, he has a chance. I think he's fairly rated and should be suited by the race. We have a good jockey on board as well."
